Join us in this virtual presentation focusing on techniques for parents to instill values and goals without being (or appearing) judgmental, and calming responses toward furthering conversations so the teen and parent can both feel heard and moving forward.

John Hart, Ph.D., LCMFT, is a psychologist and family therapist and co-owner of Relationship Counseling Center of Maryland. His educational background includes a psychology degree with honors from the George Washington University, a Master’s of Science in Couples and Family Therapy at the University of Maryland, College Park, and recently, a Doctor of Philosophy in Family Science (School of Public Health) from the University of Maryland, College Park. His educational training has nurtured a critical, contextual, family-systems, and culturally-sensitive perspective on working with couples and families.
