ABOUT OUR SPEAKER
Kate Alcamo, LCMFT, is the founder of the Family Therapy Center of Bethesda and Fairwinds Counseling Group and a licensed clinical couple and family therapist specializing in anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-worth, and divorce-related challenges. She works with adolescents, young adults, adults, and provides divorce coaching. Kate is a certified cognitive behavioral therapist for children and adolescents, trained in EMDR, and a trained Collaborative Divorce Professional. She is the co-founder of The Confidence Coaches and The Co-Parent Collective. Kate brings a diverse background that includes work in public schools and private practice. In addition to her clinical work, Kate is an Approved Supervisor and active member of both Metro MFT and the Collaborative Divorce Resolution Professionals (CDRP) of Montgomery County.
