Dear Friends,

Thank you for all you did to make our Thanksgiving Reunion such a great party. We had fun together, delicious food, and lots and lots of returning alums. We returned from break still in high spirits and with a tight feeling of community.

Here we are in the heart of the second quarter. Field trip week brought us out and about downtown DC to the Archives, the Museums of the American Indian, African American History, and of the Americas. The art classes explored the East and West wings of the National Gallery. Those of us left behind continued our studies. It was a great week.

Next week returns to our normal schedule with five days of class, Overtime, rock climbing and basketball. Many students are a bit behind in one or more classes, so taking this time to really focus on how to use Overtime effectively will set them in good stead. The end of the quarter comes quickly after Winter Break with just nine days of class before Semester Exam Week. I will send progress reports on Thursday.
