Dear Friends,

Community Service Days at Nora are about building connection with each other and our wider community. Students go to one of five sites that we support throughout the year.

  • A Wider Circle

  • Bread for the City

  • Shepherd’s Table

  • Food & Friends

  • Martha’s Table

The following week we will continue building our connections together and off campus on our Class Retreat. We will travel in our Advisory Groups all over the area. The slash below indicates the division between Thursday and Friday.

  • Seniors-Visiting colleges and museums in Baltimore/DC

  • Juniors-High Ropes Course and evening cook out in Thurmont/Low Ropes on Campus

  • Sophomores-Harriet Tubman Visitor Center and Kayaking in Cambridge/ Museums in DC

  • Freshpeople-Museums in DC/Benjamin Banneker Center in Ellicot City

Building a community of engagement is our top priority this year. These unique days are parts of our process. And they are loads of fun.

Peace,

Mara
