Dear Friends,

Congratulations to Miriam (Class of ‘25) for her commitment and engagement with her after school robotics team. Her team qualified for the FIRST Robotics World Championship Competition and made it all the way to the quarter finals! While Nora School does not offer a Robotics Club, Miriam’s enthusiasm and conversation with us keeps us informed of the opportunities that may be available in pursuit of our passions

Our Intersession Program is about passions too. Teachers design and plan Intersessions that allow us to pursue passions outside of our normal academics. This year we will delve into Civil Rights history, Surrealism art and writing, rock climbing, canoeing and camping, nature illustration, and blogging for fashion design. You can join our Facebook Page or Instagram to see photos of our adventures next week.

When we return on May 8, we will share Intersession Presentations on Monday, have our first softball game of the season on Tuesday, and our final Community Service day of the year on Wednesday.

As we enter May, we begin month long celebrations of Jewish Heritage and Asian Pacific Heritage.

Peace,

Mara
